Group Presentation
In my group there was Carly, Sydney, and I. We all did a very nice job on our presentation I believe. We were under time though but still did a very nice job on getting the information out there for people to learn more about what their hair color means. Our visual aids worked nicely through out. Overall I believe we did a very nice job with the presentation.

Duet Speech
Briana and I did a duet called Pet Shop together. We together did a good job I believe. At parts we forgot out lines for a split second but came out strong once we remembered them. We worked very well together. I am proud of how we did.

Serious Prose
This speech I felt I did very well on. My expressions could have been better with my character though. My vocal variation I thought was well with my speech. I rushed my speech really bad in the beginning. but as I continued I feel like I slowed down a lot. I thought I had very good eye contact through out the speech also.

Humorous Speech
My speech went really well I thought. I really got into it! The things I would've fixed though is my eye contact and use of my script. I looked at it a lot. and had very little eye contact. But over all I feel I did a nice job.

Persuasive Speech
I gave my speech about why people should drink more water on thursday of last week, I think. Anyways hand gestures is a main thing I need to work on. I need to get better at putting them in proper spots and right timing of them. Another thing I really need to work on is slowing down when I am talking. I felt this time I just had so much information that I needed to get in that I rushed it a lot. I need to slow down more so people can understand me better.

30 Days Video
Watching the video 30 days over living with minimum wage really changed how I look at money. People are out there in the world living on minimum wage and are able to get by. Probably barely getting by. Morgan and Alex only lived off of minimum wage for 30 days and they was tough enough for them. I can't imagine living on minimum wage for my whole life. I come from a family that does have money and we don't have to worry about living pay check to pay check. But 30 Days: Minimum wage has really changed how I will spend money even just as a high school student. Alex's job required her to walk 30 minutes because they could only afford one bus pass. Now I am one for if I am hungry I will just go out and buy something or go to the cupboard and grab a snack. But living on minimum wage you can't do that. Morgan and Alex lived off rice and beans for the longest time because they couldn't afford anything else. Arguments are always an issue between a couple living on minimum wage. Morgan and Alex got in a couple of them over money. Because he would spend money on the kids trying to make them feel welcome and that money wasn't a problem. Alex didn't see it that way and she didn't like how he would go out and spend the money like that. On top of that both of them had to go to the hospital. Alex had a urinary tract infection and Morgan had to go for his wrist because of work. Between the two of them their bill was over a thousand dollars! They didn't have that kind of money to pay for that. Morgan tried holding off going to the doctor as long as he could but it got to the point where it was super swollen and hurting constantly. In all, my perspective has changed about how I look at people who only work a minimum wage job. They live paycheck to paycheck. Then some have kids along with that, and if you are a single income family, that would be even harder because you only have one paycheck coming in with more than one mouth to feed you would have to stretch that pay check to make due. People that live paycheck to paycheck have to be smart about how they spend money. Just watching this video the way I see money has changed greatly and how people with minimum wage make it through their lives.

Informative Speech
Today I gave my speech over sociopaths. I felt really nervous about it all weekend. I practiced a couple times for it, I probably should've practiced more. I felt like I did pretty well on my speech. Well I couldn't find the words to say a lot of the time. It was one of the situations where I knew what I was talking about, like I know all my information but when it came time for the speech I couldn't find the words to say the information. I kinda had some troubles with eye contact, I would always look to the left of me at that side of the audience more than I did the right side. I looked in the middle a couple times. But mainly I looked at the left of me. That is something I seem to have troubles with often. I did lose my place in my speech a couple of times. I forgot to say a lot of stuff I has written down on my card or rough draft. Those are just some of the things I want to work one, giving my information (finding the words), eye contact, remembering parts of my speech.
